Industrial Eden
Sam Wilde partnered with Apple for a landmark public art collaboration projected across the iconic chimneys of Battersea Power Station in London for the month of December 2025.
Spanning one of Europe’s largest architectural canvases, the project became the largest free public art installation in UK history. Exhibited daily from 5pm to 10.30pm throughout December until Christmas Eve, the work transformed the former power station into a luminous digital surface visible across the River Thames and wider city skyline.
Light Up The Sky
Hand-drawn by Sam using Apple’s digital tools, the animated artwork demonstrated the scale and precision achievable within contemporary digital illustration.
Vast colour fields, intricate patterning and shifting light were rendered with clarity, extending iPad-based workflows into monumental public space through Sam’s distinctive approach to large-scale surface design.
