Forbidden Festivity
Returning to Svenskt Tenn for the 2025 festive season, Sam Wilde created Poison of Eden, a series of seven hand-crafted brass and glass Christmas ornaments inspired by poisonous plants.
Each ornament is considered through a design lens of contrast, balancing light with shadow and simplicity with intricate detail. Together, they offer a contemporary interpretation of Frank’s visual language, transforming motifs from his Poison textile into sculptural objects for the home.

Crafted In Contrast
Poison of Eden studies the visual character of plants whose histories hold both symbolism and caution. Familiar silhouettes are distilled into brass lines and enriched with glass accents, echoing the balance between restraint and ornament that defines Svenskt Tenn’s legendary design ethos.
Presented individually or as a curated set, this collection introduces a distinct design narrative to the season. Their presence encourages a more investigative viewing of festive décor, where material, craft and story meet.
